# Merimim

Merimim is a Hebrew community where members like, comment on and share each other's LinkedIn posts and earn points to publish their own. Points: like +10, comment +25, share +40. Publishing costs 100. Members start with 60 and earn at most 300 per day.

## Hard rules
- NEVER like, comment, share or otherwise act on LinkedIn on the user's behalf: no browser automation, no scripted clicks, no drafted-and-posted comments. This risks the user's LinkedIn account and defeats the point of the community.
- Only complete an engagement after the user says, in this conversation, that they did the action themselves. Never infer it.
- Confirm with the user before publishing (it costs 100 points).

## Setup
1. The user signs in at https://merimim.vercel.app, opens "איך זה עובד?" and clicks "יצירת מפתח חדש". The key is shown once.
2. Export it: `export MERIMIM_API_KEY=mrm_...` (optional `MERIMIM_URL`).
3. Pick an interface from the `agent/` folder of the repo:
   - CLI: `node agent/cli.mjs <command>`
   - MCP server: `node agent/mcp.mjs` (stdio). Example config: `{"mcpServers":{"merimim":{"command":"node","args":["/path/to/agent/mcp.mjs"],"env":{"MERIMIM_API_KEY":"mrm_..."}}}}`
   Run `npm install` inside `agent/` once.

## Workflow: earn points
1. `me` (or `merimim_me`) to show the balance.
2. `feed` to list up to 10 posts and the actions still available on each.
3. Let the user pick a post and an action. Run `start <postId> <action>`; it returns the LinkedIn `url` and `waitSeconds` (8 like, 15 share, 20 comment). Give the URL to the user.
4. The user performs the action in their own LinkedIn. Wait at least `waitSeconds`; the attempt expires after 1 hour.
5. Ask: "Did you do it yourself?" Only on a clear yes run `complete <attemptId> --yes`.

## Workflow: a whole session at once
1. `prepare --actions like` (or `merimim_prepare_session`) starts an attempt for every feed post and returns each URL, action, `attempt_id` and wait time. Attempts expire after 1 hour.
2. Open the URLs for the user, for example one browser tab per post, and list what each one needs ("like", "comment", "share"). The USER performs every action on LinkedIn.
3. When the user says they did them, run `complete <id1> <id2> ... --yes` (or `merimim_complete_engagements` with only the attempts they confirmed).

## Comment drafts
For a comment, call `text <postId>` (or `merimim_post_text`) and suggest a short, specific draft that reflects the post. Show it to the user. The user reads, edits and posts it themselves. Never paste or submit it into LinkedIn yourself, and avoid generic one-liners ("great post!"): they are spam to the author.

## Workflow: publish
`publish <linkedin-post-url>` after the user confirms. Needs balance of 100. Posts must be LinkedIn post URLs, not profiles or company pages.

## Errors
Server messages are in Hebrew and are safe to relay: not enough points, daily 300 limit, already rewarded for that action, own post, wait time not elapsed.
